SPOILER ALERT: This story contains spoilers from the Oct. 29 episode of “Dancing With the Stars.”

For Halloween, the celebrities on “Dancing With the Stars” took on their nightmares, each performing a routine inspired by their biggest fears — from snakes, the boogeyman and killers, to dolls, the dark and vampires. And their biggest fear may have been elimination because everyone brought their A-games.

Daniella Karagach told partner Dwight Howard that he’d yet to complete a full routine without errors — so he did just that for their very creepy contemporary to “Ring Around the Rosie.” After their impressive routine, both competitors were in tears, explaining that they had overcome a tough week. It paid off — they received the first 10 of the season, and it came from Carrie Ann Inaba.

That was only the first 10 of the night, with Carrie Ann also giving the top score to Danny Amendola and Witney Carson; Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber; Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson; Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold. While Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli used their 9 paddles for most of the night, Bruno did give Joey and Jenna a 10, putting them at the top of the leaderboard.

Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong danced the final routine of the night. Although they had immunity from last week, which meant they didn’t have to compete in the dance-offs, Chandler didn’t feel too safe after Carrie Ann said their Viennese Waltz was less than perfect… until they got their scores. Carrie Ann gave a 9, but the pair earned 10s from both Bruno and Derek, the first of the season from Derek.

After the individual dances, it was time for three dance-offs: Dwight and Daniella beat Ilona and Alan with a cha cha to “Ghostbusters; Jenn and Sasha defeated Stephen and Rylee with their salsa to “Jump In the Line;” and lastly, Joey and Jenna’s jive to “Time Warp” beat Danny and Witney.

Ultimately, Chandler and Joey were tied at the top of the leaderboard, while Ilona was at the bottom. After combining the judges’ scores and audience votes, Jenn and Sasha were shockingly sent home.

Next week, there will be no new episode of “Dancing With the Stars,” as Tuesday, Nov. 5 is Election night.
