This is a first. We've never seen a pet go out and...get a pet. But that's exactly what happened when one man walked outside and realized that his Pit Bull mix had brought home a whole flock of chickens. Welp, we guess his owners are chicken people now.

Pit Bull Mix Randomly Brings Home Flock of Chickens Like He's Starting a Homestead

We have no idea where the Pittie found the chickens, but she somehow managed to get all of the birds back to her house.

Honestly, we're impressed. Have you ever tried to wrangle a whole flock of chickens? It doesn't seem easy. It really makes one wonder how the Pittie, Kora, got the birds to follow her home.

In the hilarious video the Pit Bull mix shared, it shows the dog looking just a little bit embarrassed by what she'd done. Sorry dad. It just sort of happened, we can imagine her saying.

"I don't know where they've come from," the man said behind the camera. "Guys, where are you from?"

It might not be ideal, but you have to admit it's sort of funny. People in the comments section were cracking up. "She brought a rooster and hens, making sure they can reproduce. That’s a business man right there," joked one person. "She's looking at you like, 'a thank you' would be nice," teased someone else. "The chickens walking through 'this is nice,'" kidded someone else. "Gotta be awkward going door to door 'did my dog kidnap your chickens?'" added another person.

The Man Gave Us a Chicken Update

The video sure did bring up so many questions. Like, how exactly do you figure out where all these chickens came from? Also, what do you do with a surprise flock of chickens? Chickens take a lot of work.

Which is why the man the man made a rule: if the chickens were still around in the morning, he'd make them a coop and let them call his house home.

Of course, the chickens were there when he woke up. They got to stay! And they left a "deposit" for their new digs too — two eggs. They were already laying eggs! Kora was thrilled! And now the man has a fresh egg hook up. This random chicken flock has quickly become a windfall.

In a final video, the man showed Kora claiming her 10 percent of the deposit.

"I promised Kora she could have the first egg," he said. "Kora's reward as promised."

Hmmm, seems like Kora played the long game here.
