NEW YORK -- Freddie Freeman continues to etch his name in the record books, delivering yet another incredible performance in the World Series. After a stunning walk-off grand slam in Game 1, Freeman hasn’t slowed down.

He followed up with a solo home run in Game 2 and then opened Game 3 with a two-run blast at Yankee Stadium, propelling the Dodgers to an early 2-0 lead.

With this homer, Freeman joins an elite group, becoming just the third player in World Series history to homer in each of the first three games of a series—matching the legendary Hank Bauer (1958) and Barry Bonds (2002).

Freeman's impressive streak of five consecutive World Series games with a home run, dating back to his time with the Atlanta Braves, ties George Springer for the all-time record.

In Game 1, Freeman made history by becoming the first player ever to hit a walk-off grand slam in the Fall Classic, despite battling a severely sprained right ankle. His clutch performance recalled memories of Kirk Gibson’s iconic walk-off home run for the Dodgers in the 1988 World Series. Alongside Gibson and Joe Carter of Toronto, Freeman is now part of a select group of players who have hit walk-off home runs with their team trailing.

Freeman’s remarkable run is positioning him as a strong candidate for World Series MVP, even with his ankle injury, proving that his contributions are far from over in this series.
