That's one way to end your golf game early. Two golfers were at a loss when they walked over to their next hole and discovered a donkey on the course. It was totally unexpected...unless the donkey was a surprise new obstacle to golfers. Try not get distracted by the adorable animal at hole six!
Shared by the Golf on CBS account, the video shows the two men trying to figure out what to do about their little donkey problem.
Not that we think it's a problem. Honestly, golf would be a whole lot more fun if we could take breaks to pet animals. The video shows one of the men chatting on the phone with someone about their unexpected visitor.

"We're on hole six right now," one of the men said in the footage. "There's a donkey on hole six. It's right next to the green. We're just petting him right now."
We know a lot of people in the comments section who wouldn't mind a donkey interrupting their golf game. "Plot twist. ITS THE CUTEST DONKEY THAT EVER EXISTED," one person exclaimed. "We’re just petting him right now," another commenter added. "Wait there's a donkey distribution system too?" someone else teased. "If I knew a random donkey encounter was part of the game, I might try golf again," one person joked.
Are Donkeys Friendly?
Unfortunately, some donkeys have the reputation for being stubborn. But that shouldn't put you off from donks. They're actually incredibly sweet creatures and get along with humans really well. Donkeys are social by nature. They like to hang out with other donks and can even bond with animals of different species. They've been known to bond with horses, dogs, goats, and even chickens. Donkeys are cool with everyone on the farm. They like to have a group of pals around.
Some donkeys even get really depressed if raised on their own. They need companionship, so if you want to get a donkey as a pet it's probably best to get it a buddy too.
That being said, you should always be a little cautious when approaching a donkey out in the wild. Fortunately for these two men, it seems that the donkey they found was friendly and open for petting, but not all of them might be. You want to be cautious around any wild animals — they may not trust humans and may not welcome any physical contact.
Luckily for these two, their day out on the green took the best kind of turn. We'd like to think of a donkey on the golf course as a gift.
