Watch on to see their costume idea come to life. It's genius! Not only is it a very cool costume combo for the two of them, but it's a unique one. It even lights up!
Their costume was pair/team/duo perfection! Maxine is King Kong and Bryan is the Empire State Building! I think this is my favorite costume combo of the year. I wasn't the only one who loved it - people have left close to 600 comments about it. @Corgis_love79 said, "OMG! 100% hands down best costume!" @Xtina agreed, "This is phenomenal! The Crocs are killing me too LOL!" Even the @Empire State Building chimed in, "This is AMAZING!!!"
Pet Costume Safety
As fun as this costume is, I'm sure that Bryan made sure that Maxine's safety was their main priority. Maxine is totally used to being carried around in a backpack and is comfortable wearing costumes...she has a lot of them! Remember, Maxine and Bryan are pet influencers, and this is their job. So rules are a bit different for them than for our pets at home.
Not all dogs are comfortable with having to wear clothing like Maxine is, so when Halloween rolls around, many dogs don't want to wear costumes. Another Pet Helpful reminds, "Your dog's comfort should be the top priority when selecting the Halloween costume. Never be rough with your canine friend when dressing him for Halloween. Use a gentle touch, and if your dog rebels and it all gets out of hand, skip the costume entirely."
The main priority when it comes to choosing the right costume for your dog is that they are comfortable. They need to be able to do all of the things that they normally do. This means they need to be able to walk and breathe comfortably, as well as being able to eat, bark, and go to the bathroom with no assistance, just like they normally do. If the costume prevents them from doing any of these things, it's not a safe costume for them.
Remember that not all dogs will tolerate wearing a costume, so if yours shows any stress or anxiety about it, put a festive bandana or necklace on instead. Even though they're not in costume, they'll still be celebrating and showing off their holiday spirit.
